ADAPTIVE Skills Services

Adaptive Skills Services are available for those using Self-Determination or Private Pay. We have developed a program and assist staff in implementing this program in-home for those interested. Skills addressed may include:

  • Self-care & hygiene

  • Home & community safety

  • Budgeting & scheduling

  • Problem-solving & sequencing

  • Technology accommodations & use

For our differently and non-speaking applicants, we ask that some form of alternative communication strategies be in place. This may include yes/no options, choice-boards or symbolic choice programs such as Proloquo2Go.

This is a requirement for any interested parties with differently-speaking individuals, so we many uphold our commitment to presuming competence.
